The long-awaited event will take place at the Lux Divina center in Brasov city where many exhibitors, suppliers of products and services for businesses in the food industry and beyond will meet with specialist visitors, representatives of bakeries, confectioneries, restaurants and other bakery units to discover the latest trends and ideas they will put into practice in the near future. It will also find out who wins the long-awaited trophies: Bread and Cake of the Year 2022.

This year's exhibition is a source of inspiration for both suppliers and producers, as well as for visitors, creating a direct contact and a new connection with the latest equipment, machinery, ingredients, working techniques that can be viewed, compared and experienced at the exhibition stands.
Smaller portions, but with more added value, bakeries with the option of serving meals, hotels with freshly baked pastries, artisanal ice cream prepared in front of the customers, sugar-free cakes, gluten-free bread or lactose-free desserts. These are just some of the trends that will be presented on the 3rd-5th in Brasov at the GastroPan International Exhibition.

Artisanal ice cream - the attraction of the GastroPan Exhibition. At the beginning of the season, the suppliers will show the new technologies, equipment and showcases that allow the production of ice cream right in front of the customers, but also the new tastes and flavors that will dominate in the field of ice cream.
Allergen-free products - it is desired to obtain allergen-free products not only among people with intolerance, but also among consumers. Products without gluten, lactose, sugar will be presented to demonstrate in parallel an increase in product quality.

The long-awaited and traditional GastroPan competitions where the most talented bakers, confectioners and chefs from the Romania will take compete during the Exhibition. The competitions increase quality, innovation, creativity and product diversification. The following will be awarded:
SUNDAY|the 3rd of APRIL| Cake of the year 2022 where competitors will present an innovative cake made according to an old recipe, but adapted to new trends;
MONDAY |4th of APRIL | Bread of the year 2022 industrial where the bread manufactured by an industrial technological process on continuous or discontinuous production lines, automated or not will be presented; Bread of the year 2022 artisanal where the product is made in artisanal mode with a production of 150 kg/day;
TUESDAY |5th of APRIL| Food dishes where there will be a balanced combination of nutrients with modern tastes.
